Losing weight can be the biggest motivation for wanting to change your diet. More often than not fad diets don’t work and either you are unable to maintain the weight loss or unable to even lose any weight in the first place. Sometimes you even end up putting on more weight than before, because the change creates other problems or maybe the diet doesn’t suit you or is unsustainable and results in overeating. This can leave you feeling frustrated, deflated and demotivated.
In my experience, if eating less and moving more hasn’t worked, there is likely another underlying reason which may need to be explored and identified. This could include an imbalance in blood sugar levels, thyroid dysfunction, adrenal fatigue or another hormone disruption.
